A Washougal man involved in a standoff with police Wednesday night allegedly set his trailer on fire and fled. But a police tracking dog ended the pursuit by biting him.

David Peck, 45, was transported to Southwest Washington Medical Center with bite injuries. He was treated and then placed into custody at the Clark County Jail on suspicion of an assault and charges related to the standoff.
