Members of the medical community on Tuesday presented an estimated 315,000 signatures supporting proposed Initiative 330, which counts among its measures caps on noneconomic damages ranging from $350,000 and $1,050,000.
The Columbian usually has not been enamored with the initiative process (government by elected officials is preferable). For that reason, we hope Initiative 330 will convince legislators to approve caps on noneconomic liability awards. That is the preferred process for achieving the primary benefit that Initiative 330 offers.See the full content of this document
