A 16-year-old girl escaped injury Friday after she crashed a Jeep Cherokee into a power pole at Northeast 279th Street and 172nd Avenue, in the Heisson area north of Battle Ground Lake.

The 2:45 p.m. crash damaged the pole and a large electrical junction box - and dropped live high-voltage wires onto the ground, according to the Clark County Sheriff's Office.
