SPOKANE (AP) A house painter has filed a $5 million damage claim against Spokane County, saying sheriff's deputies unjustifiably jolted him three times with a stun gun while arresting him on charges that were mostly dropped.
According to the claim filed Monday on behalf of Spirit Creager, 34, the actions of deputies Chad E. Ruff and Todd Saunders amounted to "unreasonable detention, a false arrest, an assault, an unnecessary and excessive use of force, as well as the negligent and- or intentional infliction of emotional distress."See the full content of this document
