Soldier Hurt in Iraq 'Serious, Stable'

A soldier from Vancouver was reported in serious but stable condition at Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington, D.C., Friday after suffering extensive injuries in Iraq on Oct. 5.

Army Spc. Brian Radke, 30, was moved from Landstuhl Regional Medical Center in Germany to Walter Reed last week, and his parents, David and Lynne Radke, flew there from Vancouver to be with him. So did the soldier's wife, Nova, of Chandler, Ariz.
