SALT LAKE CITY - The cafe birthplace of Kentucky Fried Chicken has risen from the rubble on State Street in Salt Lake City and is reopening as a shrine to the two men and countless fowl who created one of the world's most famous fast-food chains.

"It's our very largest restaurant we have ever built about twice the size of our other stores," KFC spokesman Bruce Garner said. "It's our new image on the outside with the original Harman cafe sign. Inside, it's a walk-through museum with each area telling the story of Kentucky Fried Chicken."
