A Ridgefield man was sentenced on Friday to 121/2 years in prison for his role in a stock conspiracy that swindled some 7,200 investors across the nation out of $91 million.

Larry L. Beaman, 63, had been convicted in federal court in May of 26 felony counts, including conspiracy, money laundering and securities and wire fraud in the Znetix conspiracy, the largest such case in the state's history.
