Taxpayers won't foot the bill for the three days Clark County surveyors spent staking out fence lines on J.L. Storedahl & Sons property near La Center last month, a county official said Thursday.

Public Works Director Pete Capell said though adjoining land near the Storedahl property does derive some benefits from the fence the gravel company installed, county employees should not have done the surveying.
