Last Sunday's NASCAR race in Sonoma, Calif., put the finishing touches on a record-setting season for Fox, which now gives way to NBC Sports after televising 13 of the first 16 races of the Nextel Cup season.

The event at Infineon Raceway earned a 5.7 national household rating and a 13 share (8.8 million viewers), a 21 percent increase over last year's 4.7/11.
