SALEM, Ore. Health officials and environmentalists this week urged Oregon lawmakers to finally implement a pesticide-reporting program passed by the Legislature six years ago.
The law was intended to help Oregonians learn the effects of pesticides in their neighborhoods. But the program failed to get off the ground when the 2003 legislature, faced with a tight budget, decided against funding it.See the full content of this document
