PALO ALTO, Calif. (AP) Hewlett-Packard Co. brought in an outside executive to head its personal computers group as part of a move to re-establish the unit as a standalone division within the company.
In January, the computing division was folded into HP's far more lucrative printing group as part of a shakeup by then-CEO Carly Fiorina, who was ousted shortly afterwards for failing to boost profit quickly enough.
