The Cincinnati Bengals reportedly have opened the bidding for defensive tackle Warren Sapp.

The Bengals decided to set the initial market value for the seven- time Pro Bowl defensive tackle. Sports Illustrated's Web site reported Tuesday night that the Bengals pitched an estimated four- year, $16 million offer to agent Drew Rosenhaus, but that the deal was nowhere near being done.
