SEATTLE Washington students are barely above the national average in science education, according to results from a national exam released Tuesday.
In 2009, the average score of eighth-grade students in Washington was 155 on the National Assessment of Educational Progress, also known as the Nations Report Card. Washington fourth-grade students averaged 151. The national average for both grades was 149.See the full content of this document
