PORTLAND - Pitcher Marty McLeary had possibly his best start of the season and added a two-run double to lead Portland to a 5-1 victory over Fresno on Saturday.

McLeary pitched well as a reliever early in the season but had only limited success when he moved to a starting role nearly a month ago. He got his first victory of the season by holding the Grizzlies to five hits in six innings of work.
