Vancouver-Clark Parks and Recreation Department offers infant and toddler swim classes at the Marshall and Firstenburg community center pools. Called Parent-n-Tot, the lessons provide water orientation for children ages 6 months to 3 years and their parents.
Enrollment in Parent-n-Tot classes is capped at 10 children. The lessons regularly fill up, and waiting lists sometimes form, said Karen Krohling, assistant pool manager and swim lesson coordinator at both centers.
