Clark County will reopen the troubled Klineline Bridge over Salmon Creek by midmorning today after an eight-day closure caused by high water.
The rain-swollen creek finally receded enough Tuesday afternoon for engineers to get a look at the 79-year-old structure, which carries Highway 99. They found that a series of repairs made only last month had held up and gave the go-ahead for reopening once crews remove barricades this morning, said Jim Gladson, public information officer for the Clark County Public Works Department.See the full content of this document
