Horror stories about the delays and hassles in getting a U.S. passport are becoming as common as complaints about the complex federal income tax forms. The thick and virtually indecipherable U.S. Tax Code guarantees continued employment for CPAs. Perhaps the passport situation will spawn a whole new occupation: PPF, or passport-procurement facilitator.
