The number of seniors statewide who have passed the reading and writing portions of the Washington Assessment of Student Learning has climbed to 85 percent, state officials announced on Monday. Here are a few key facts to keep mind:
Students in that 85-percent group should not slack off. Although passage of those two WASL tests is required for graduation, passage does not guarantee graduation.
