Summary
Washingtonians are starting to see this economic recession for the nonpartisan monster that it really is. If the pain was more severe for one political party in this years legislative session, it might have been the Democrats but only because there are more of them. Gouging $4 billion out of state services and programs many of the trims coming in areas deemed essential by many state residents was an excruciating experience for Democrats and Republicans alike.
Now comes some more bad news, albeit not as bad as before. (Hows that for rationalizing? Its like, well, the heavyweight champion doesnt seem to be pummeling as ferociously here in the eighth round as he was back in the first round.)
