BEND, Ore. (AP) Garlic farmers in Central Oregon are worried that increasing competition from China may strike a fatal blow to another segment of the region's specialty farming market.

Sugar beets and mint for peppermint oil have already been crippled by overseas competition, farmers in the Bend area told The Bulletin in Bend.
