SEATTLE Mexican President Vicente Fox, anxiously awaiting the U.S. Congress' decision on election-year immigration legislation, on Thursday renewed a call for cooperation between the two countries and a focus on trade and education to stem the flow of migrants out of Mexico.

Fox, speaking to the private Rainier Club in downtown Seattle, said the United States and Mexico can set an example for other nations around the globe dealing with their own immigration issues.
