Teenage drivers advocating a lower speed limit? Surely something was up.
At 1:23 a.m. Tuesday, a Ridgefield police officer was driving along South Royal Road near Ridgefield High School when he spotted two males standing next to a Jeep Cherokee. The two 18-year-olds allegedly had stolen a 15 mph speed sign from a construction site. They had taken down a 35 mph speed sign and were apparently planning to put the 15 mph sign in its place when they were spotted by the officer, police said.See the full content of this document
