TACOMA (AP) -- Former City Manager Ray E. Corpuz Jr., who lost his job in the City Hall uproar after Police Chief David Brame fatally shot his wife and then committed suicide, pleaded not guilty Friday to a drunken driving charge.
Corpuz, 56, appeared in Pierce County Superior Court, where his attorney, C. James Frush, entered the plea. He was ordered to abstain from drinking and not to drive without a license. Another court hearing is scheduled for April 21.See the full content of this document
