SPOKANE (AP) A convict accused of bilking a Republic woman of $454,000 through a get-rich-quick scheme known as a "Nigerian Letter" has pleaded guilty to wire fraud conspiracy, federal prosecutors said.
Terry Ayeni, 43, a Nigerian citizen already serving a 46-month federal prison sentence for a similar case of fraud, pleaded guilty last week in U.S. District Court here to conspiracy to commit wire fraud, U.S. Attorney James McDevitt said in a statement.See the full content of this document
