Kudos to Clark County commissioners for their decision Tuesday to finalize an emergency ordinance blocking new applications for development in the Salmon Creek area near the intersection of interstates 5 and 205.
It's too bad our elected officials let us get into this position in the first place. A more forward thinking, progressive body would have moved much sooner to correct the problem that we all face. But at least this moratorium on subsequent (not pending) applications for new buildings and businesses will help address the problem.See the full content of this document
