Most drivers seemed to have gotten the memo about treacherous roads and were staying home Monday -- at least inside the city.
Police officers who patrol east Vancouver reported fewer accidents than most days. The majority of emergency calls were for stranded vehicles. From 6:30 a.m. until the afternoon, there were five calls for disabled vehicles and only one traffic accident.See the full content of this document
