How pleasant to see Queen Elizabeth, the Chiracs and the Bushes sitting shoulder to shoulder at the Normandy beach 60th anniversary D-Day festivities this week. The one-time Allies appeared to be on the same page on World War II issues, though things have been not so cozy concerning today's world wars.
