BATTLE GROUND -- The city council here plans to decide tonight whether to ask residents to pay for better parks.
A citizens committee worked for six months to decide which improvements were most needed in the city's parks, said Battle Ground Public Works Director Sam Adams. A narrowed-down wish list requires a $7.49 million bond issue, which would have to be approved by voters.
