Even in weather cold enough to make ears ache, a half-dozen walkers and their dogs were marching on the trails that snake around the Washington State University Vancouver campus last week.
That's what university officials are hoping for, spokeswoman Jessica Lightheart said. The goal is to make the school grounds more like a community center, welcoming more than its students "to embrace diversity and bring it on campus," she said.See the full content of this document
