EUGENE, Ore. (AP) -- Four people accused of a setting a string of environmental sabotage fires across the West have dropped their request for information on whether prosecutors used warrantless wiretaps to gather evidence.

U.S. District Judge Ann Aiken was notified Wednesday by Amanda Lee, a Seattle lawyer representing defendant Daniel McGowan, that the request was being withdrawn "by reason of agreement with the government."
