Cheers: To Clark County commissioners for dropping their costly and misguided legal defense of the countys 2004 Memo of Understanding with the Cowlitz Indian Tribe. The MOU pertained to the mega-casino that the tribe is proposing for a site on Interstate 5 near La Center. Now, if the county commissioners would just relinquish any notion of pursuing a subsequent MOU with the tribe and commissioners Marc Boldt and Tom Mielke have hinted that they might be leaning toward abandoning any MOU idea...

Those loans are for a pay period of a week, two weeks , a month. For a week, $15 on $100 is 780 percent at an annual percentage rate (APR); for two weeks, 390 percent, and 195 percent for a month. Most third-graders could get that, too.
