Having a Hand in History

A gargantuan line of voters snaked outside the Clark County Elections Office and around the corner of Mill Plain Boulevard in the first all-mail presidential election in county history. Some voters endured a two-hour wait. Thousands of Clark County voters demonstrated their commitment to democracy by standing in line for up to two hours in intermittent rain and chilly temperatures.

Baird Wins Sixth Term, Talks of Challenges Facing U.S.

U.S. Rep. Brian Baird easily defeated libertarian-leaning Republican Michael Delavar Tuesday in his campaign for a sixth term representing Southwest Washington's 3rd Congressional District. In unofficial results, Baird was winning with about 64 percent of the vote.
